What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative musician who has a love for God, music and a desire to use it to enrich the spiritual lives of others.  The ideal candidate is a team-player, servant-leader and a person of faith with an ability to relate well to others.  They also have strong organizational skills, the ability to lead, delegate, and work effectively with a volunteer worship band, choir of 12-18 members and good communication skills with people in general.

Position Description:

Time:  Part-time (20 hours/week)

Worship Style:  Blended

Salary:  TBD


Responsibilities include: Working with the Senior Pastor and others to plan music for all worship services; attending weekly staff meetings, preparing for and leading adult choir rehearsal and directing choir performances (Sundays and other concerts throughout the year); coordinating guest musicians and weekly special music (offertory); scheduling and working with band and audio technicians, overseeing weekly Facebook Livestreaming.  Must be available for Annual Special Services (Christmas Eve, Easter, periodic concerts, etc).


Current Rehearsal Schedule:

  • Tuesday Evenings 7:00-9:00 PM
  • Sunday 8:00-9:00 AM (Prior to worship services)
  • Weekly Worship – Sundays 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in music and proven experience in church leadership
  • Working knowledge of a variety of Christian music styles – from traditional hymns to contemporary worship music
  • Warm and encouraging attitude for musicians of all skill levels
  • Basic word processing and other computer skills
