MCC: End of Year Letter from GB, COE, and MCC Staff

Christmas banner, presents, bells and pine!Thank You for your Generous Gifts!

A Joint Letter from MCC’s Governing Board, Council of Elders, and Staff

Dear People of God,

We approach the end of the year so grateful for all that God has done through each one of you. You have changed lives, shown our communities glimpses of heaven on earth and worked diligently to bring justice. Together, as the Governing Board, Council of Elders and Staff of MCC, we thank you for all that you have done to transform the world and to bring the radically inclusive love of God to those who most need it. We are thankful for the generosity and faithful giving that you have offered this year, through your local church and to MCC as a denomination.

In this time of Advent, we are “pregnant with hope,” as we look forward to 2020. We eagerly anticipate new partnerships between local churches and the denomination, to an increased MCC presence around the globe, and to new opportunities for learning from each other about being the best that we can be in ministry. We look forward to continuing the legacy of salvation, community and social action from our founding 50 years.

Will you join us in preparing for this coming year,
with all its possibilities?

We invite you to hold MCC worldwide in prayer, knowing that God is already at work preparing the way for us. We also invite you to consider making a year-end gift to MCC to help us start 2020, already blessed with financial resources. Your donation will strengthen local churches, support church leaders and enable us to spread the great news of MCC to more people around the world. God still has plenty for us to do!

Support MCC with your Year-End Gift Now!

We wish all of you a blessed Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Sincerely,

The MCC Governing Board, Council of Elders, and Staff

(individual names below)

P.S. It would be a significant administrative and logistical help to us if we could receive year-end contributions (including local church assessments for December) by 6th January 2020. It is our intention to reconcile 2019 finances as soon as possible, so that we can get relevant documents to all of our donors in a timely fashion, as well as produce final financial reports for our larger denomination. Thank you for your partnership in this.
