MCC Emerging Church Training
20 April 2016
MCC is actively forming new types of worship communities around the world. The MCC Emerging Church Program, now in its 2nd year, continues to explore ways to Become MCC.
It is no secret, the way a person expresses faith and spirituality is different than even 10 years ago. Some leaders are still asking questions like, “Who is in charge?” “What can we do to bring people to church?” If those two questions start the conversation in a faith community then it is clear, the church as we know it today will come to a screeching halt.
MCC Emerging Church Leaders are asking these questions: “Where is God working?” “How can we be present?” If these two questions stir your spirit, and your focus is ministry that builds communities of faith, then it might be time to begin discerning your next steps in ministry.
The MCC Emerging Church Leadership Training is available to lay persons and clergy interested in forming new MCC churches. The training has two stages, the first for those who are interested in MCC Emerging Church Models and Methods and the second for Proposal and Formation of an MCC Emerging Church. Anyone interested in MCC Emerging Church Development can take Part 1: Models and Methods. Part 2 is offered only to those ready to begin an MCC Emerging Church.
Below are details about each training session topic, date, time options, and fees. Training materials and webinars are developed and facilitated by Rev. Elder Rachelle Brown with special guests as applicable to the topic.
