The body of work that is called Church Size Theory is now coming to Australasia!More than half of the MCC congregations in Canada, Europe, and the U.S. have attended a Size Summit. Almost all of them have given positive feedback regarding the insights they gained about their churches and expressed real appreciation for receiving specific recommendations for next steps in their church’s development. The Summit will be led by Rev. Elder Darlene Garner and will provide every participating church with a thorough assessment and feedback. The experience is always enhanced when the Pastor, Board, Staff and ministry leaders attend together.

PAD Conference 2014

First MCC of Atlanta

The MCC Conference for People of African Descent (PAD), our Friends, and Allies is offered primarily as a forum for people of African Descent within our local churches to connect with one another for worship, celebration, skill-building, strategizing and leadership development. The PAD Conference program offerings include intentional programming for PAD and also for people who are not of African descent (collectively referred to as “friends and allies”) so that all of us can work together on the task of building relationships of mutuality and respect with one another while simultaneously increasing the capacity of MCC to be authentically welcoming and embracing of PAD within our local churches. The PAD Conference provides the opportunity for all attendees to journey together in the creation of a truly inclusive spiritual community committed to social justice for all. Join us on this journey where we will learn to “Be the Change” we seek in the world.Click here for more information
