Finance Committee Appeal Update
Dear Members and Friends of UFMCC:
Welcome to 2019, a new year in Christ! We are looking forward to our General Conference this July in Orlando, Florida, USA, with enthusiasm and renewed expectations for our denomination.
We are pleased to announce our year-end Finance Committee Appeal yielded $75,000 USD. We are so thankful for those who were able to contribute. Your generous “above and beyond” gifts allowed us to end the year in a much better financial position. For those who were not able to give to this special appeal, we thank you for your continued prayers for our denomination.
FYI – we have used $3,000 USD of this offering as a deposit for our 2015 financial audit and have reserved $12,000 USD for the balance due upon completion of this audit. Another $15,000 USD has been reserved for the payment of the 2016 audit. These audits are critical to our denomination’s financial health and overall transparency. In addition, $10,000 USD has been earmarked to pay past due accounts.
We are recommending to the Governing Board that the remaining balance of $35,000 USD be applied to partially replenish designated funds and investment accounts.
Our November 2018 and December 2018 year-end financial reports are complete and are available for your review on the UFMCC website. Although we were not able to end the year in the black, we have made progress in tightening our expenses and making strides in collecting past due church assessments.
Should you have questions regarding the tasks that the Finance Committee is charged with completing, please reach out to us.
