
Rev. Dr. Judy Dahl
Judy Dahl was born and raised an identical twin in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended 12 years of parochial Catholic School and entered a Benedictine convent right out of high school. She later became a flight attendant and eventually returned to ministry when she first found MCC in the early 1970s.
She received her Masters of Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology and her doctorate from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Over the past 28 years she has served MCC as a layperson, Board Member, exhorter, Assistant Pastor of MCC of the Rockies, Pastor of Chrysalis MCC and MCC Ventura, as the Southwest District Coordinator and as the Director of Global Outreach for UFMCC. In addition, she served a United Methodist church and has been an activist for human and GLBT rights.
She has published River of Promise, which chronicles her quest to adopt her two children, Andy 15 and Jori 15. She is also published in the anthology, Amazing Grace and her doctoral dissertation: "A Sabbath for Activists: Inner Renewal for Transformational Living."
She makes her home, with her partner, Carol Wood
and her children, in Ventura, California.
