Avalanche Ranch VBS MCC
is excited to be bring you the First Annual General
Conference Vacation Bible
School! The Avalanche Ranch program will
provide fun, memorable Bible-learning activities for
kids ages 3-12.
Avalanche Ranch is an
exciting way for children to learn more about God's
Love and even participate in a
hands-on-mission project called
Operation Kid-to-Kid that will
reach AIDS orphans in Africa. Each day concludes a
Showtime Roundup -- a celebration to
help everyone live the lessons they've
learned.
The Five Bible Points your child will
learn: 1) God is real. 2) God
is with us. 3) God is strong. 4) God
is awesome. 5) God is in charge.
Location: Scottsdale,
Arizona Dates: July 2-6, 2007 Times: 8
am - 5 pm (Parents pick up their children for
lunch.) $25 USD per child.

Home Grown: The
MCC Teen Curriculum Project Ministry to
families with teens and children is
increasingly critical for every MCC! Come learn about a
new curriculum created especially for MCC teens,
ages 10-17. The program is designed to:

Help teens explore questions of faith
and life that are common to all adolescents.

Assist teens in making sense of the
Bible for themselves.
-
Allow teens to wrestle honestly with
doubt.
-
Encourage teens to address the
special challenges of growing up in a family and
community that faces discrimination.
-
Offer freedom for young people to
claim their place as heterosexual, homosexual, or
questioning in a predominately LGBT
church.
Join us for this institute
and discover how to create an effective teen
ministry in your congregation, regardless
of how small your group may currently be. This
program represents our responsibility for the spiritual
