HEALTH SCREENING

Look for Rev. Karen Ziegler and a great team of healthcare professionals as they provide health screenings for conference participants. You'll have the opportunity to test your own blood sugar and blood pressure. The healthcare professionals will step through a questionnaire with you and offer suggestions for a healthy diet and exercise program. Rev. This year we're trying something new! Join us Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM for Bible Study. Discussions will be held in designated rooms throughout the conference site. Our Moderator, Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, has selected facilitators to host the Bible Studies each morning. When you're planning your day, remember to include some time to hear, share, and grow with friends old and new.

Here's a reminder that the deadline for submissions for the General Conference Memorial Presentation is June 15. We'll honor all MCC pastors, Lay Delegates and local church staff who have passed away since our last gathering in Calgary, Canada in 2005. The Scottsdale Fairmont Princess is sold out. Not to worry, though. The Conference Planning Team has secured alternative space for you! Come home to the beautiful Resort Suites of Scottsdale during your stay for General Conference. To make reservations, call (480) 585-1234 or our central reservation number at 800-903-9225 by June 15, 2007.  Remember to identify yourself as a member of the Group ("Metropolitan Community Churches" or "MCC").  All reservations require a non-refundable one night room deposit with a major credit card. The rate is $109 USD (+11.92% tax) and a one time resort fee of $9.50 USD.
A complimentary shuttle is available for all guests anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Resort Suites is located only three blocks from the conference site. Check-in time is 3 PM and check-out time is 12 noon.
