Raquel Benitez Rojas

After obtaining a Bachelor at UCM in Arts and Communications, Master at USF, MBA at Universidad de Barcelona, and seven audiovisual diplomas at CIC and three from various prestigious institutions Ms. Benítez Rojas worked in a variety of academic and professional positions in the United States, Canada, Asia, and Europe. Her strengths lie in her ability to conceive, create and develop audiovisual properties, preparing them for the international market. Expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of a specialized market enable Ms. Benítez Rojas to research viable properties and rights options.

Member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers, SGAE, ASIFA and EGEDA, among other international audiovisual organizations. Guest speaker in the most prestigious international Universities and schools, she has written software programs and books that are now considered to be the industry standard, and has worked on, directed and received accolades for many animated films. Ms. Benítez Rojas works as CEO of Comet Entertainment Inc. The company provides animation production and development, commercial assessments of projects in development including advice on improving the international saleability of the programme together with sales projections and finance structures and has been commissioned to do so for multinational companies. Conversely Comet Entertainment Inc offers source rights holders contractual advice on rights options granted, as well as acting as venture capital investor, co producer and private investor in its own properties and third parties rights. Ms. Benítez Rojas is member of the board of directors of Comet Entertainment Inc, Vitamin Cartoons Inc and DFI Inc
