07.12.10.BOE.01 Motion by Rev. Elder Jim
Mitulski, seconded by Rev. Elder Ken Martin to affirm the electronic poll
approving the following statement to be sent to the Board of Administration and
Stephen Harte:

In the
matter of Stephen Harte’s membership on the Board of Administration:
As requested by the Board of
Administration, a By-laws interpretation sent to you November 20th,
2007 reads as follows:
“When a member of the Board of Administration
ceases, for whatever reason, to be a “member in good standing” of a local MCC,
that person ceases to meet the qualifications for membership on the MCC Board
of Administration and is not eligible to serve. Once a person is no longer a
member of the Board of Administration, the position becomes vacant and can only
be filled by the Board of Elders in accordance with the Fellowship’s
Bylaws. The former member of the Board
cannot regain a seat on the Board by simply becoming a member in good standing
with another MCC Fellowship.”
It is our decision to confirm to you that the 1 November
2007 decision of the committee of Holy Trinity MCC of Edinburgh to remove
Stephen Harte’s membership constitutes a de facto resignation of Stephen Harte
from the MCC Board of Administration,
and the seat is now vacant.

Motion by Rev. Elder Diane Fisher, seconded by Rev. Elder Jim Mitulski to
extend Marvin Bagwell’s term on the Board of Administration by one year so it
will expire end of Dec 2008 and to reappoint Barbara Crabtree and Julie Krueger
for two year terms on the Board of Administration, beginning Jan 2008 and
expiring Dec 2009.
