1.         Opening Prayer and Sharing

 

The meeting was opened in prayer and there was a brief time of sharing.

 

2.         Minutes of Last Meeting

 

The minutes of the last Board meeting will be circulated for approval.

 

3.         Financial Matters

 

Because this meeting is held a week earlier than usual, the financial reports are not yet available.  However, cash flow is tight with all of the upfront General Conference expenses.

 

4.         Building Sale

 

The building is scheduled to close next Friday, April 27.  The Executive Director briefed the Board on various details of the transaction and a general discussion followed.  The Board concluded that everything was on track for a successful closing. 

 

5.         Senior Housing Project

 

The Executive Director briefed the Board on the status of discussions with Affirmative Equities.  Given the crush of workload associated with closing on the building sale, a discussion of counsel’s legal review of the contract prepared by Affirmative Equities was deferred to the next meeting.

 

6.         Meeting Adjourned

 

The meeting was closed in prayer and adjourned.
