Qualified
individuals are encouraged to express interest in serving on the
MCC
Nominations Committee
for the
Lay Ministry Council. Individuals should send

The letter of interest should address why
the applicant believes she or he would be appropriate for service on the LMC
Nominations Committee and include two references, including one from your local
MCC pastor.
Resumes should contain the following information:

All work and volunteer experience
-- Education, including vocational training
and relevant continuing education
-- History of experience with Metropolitan
Community Churches
Responsibilities of the Nominations
Committee for the Lay Ministry Council
Members of the
Nominations Committee for the Lay Ministry Council will make a recommendation to
fill the office of Vice Chair at MCC's General Conference 2005. The Committee
will make their recommendations in writing.
The deadline to receive applications to serve on the Nominations Committee is April 21, 2005.
Applications will be processed and the members of the Nominations Committee will be announced on May 1, 2005 by the Appointments Team of the MCC Board of Elders. We are seeking a committee of four laypersons and one clergyperson.
