Entry 1 - April 17, 2007
by Rev. Jeff Miner, Senior Pastor, Jesus MCC

Dear all,

The Indianapolis Campaign has just gotten off the ground; we just finished day two.  Based on our experience last year, the Campaign won’t hit its saturation point and media peak until early next week.  But early indications are quite good.  Here is a brief summary:

1-Today I was interviewed by Family News In Focus, which is apparently the radio news wing of Focus on the Family.  The reporter said they distribute to 700 Christian radio stations across the U.S.  It should be interesting to see the spin they put on this.

2-Yesterday I was interviewed by Metro Networks, which operates a series of radio stations across Indiana.

3-The religion reporter of the Indianapolis Star requested some information today.  My guess is that they’re preparing a story.

4-We have put up about 800 yard signs so far, 1200 still to go.  These signs are being torn down even quicker than last years, but clearly are having an impact.

5-On Monday, there were 1500 unique visitors to WouldJesusDiscriminate.com.  Today there were 2500.

6-As you know, a number of blogs are picking this up.

I’ll keep you posted as events unfold.
