Meet the MCC Ecumenical and Inter-Religious
Strategic Team!

• Chair Stan Kimer is a long time lay leader across all
levels of MCC ministry. He’s a member of St. John’s
MCC in Raleigh, NC; was chair of the MCC Commission on the Laity 2001
– 2003, and is currently Second Vice President of the North
Carolina Council of Churches.

• Rev Elder Diane Fisher, the MCC Elder for Region 5, has
been in active dialogue with many human rights and religious
organizations in her recent MCC work throughout Eastern Europe.

• Connie Meadows is a member of the Church of Trinity MCC
in Sarasota, FL. She is a former corporate executive who speaks
several languages and now serves as the assistant to the MCC
Moderator. She was a member of the MCC contingent participating in
the 2006 World Council of Churches General Assembly, and is entering
theological studies at the Episcopal Divinity School in June, 2007.

• Rev Elder Nancy Wilson, our MCC Moderator, has been active
since 1974 in attending various ecumenical activities representing MCC,
including the US National Council of Churches and the World Council of
Churches.

• Rev Robert Griffin is on staff at the Sunshine Cathedral in
Fort Lauderdale, FL and also serves on the staff of the MCC
Moderator’s Office and Office of Clergy Development. He
became a member of the Washington County Council of Churches (Maryland)
while serving as the founding pastor of New Light MCC in Hagerstown,
Maryland.

• Rev Araceli Ezzatti is an MCC pastor serving in Uruguay,
and also a current United Methodist Clergyperson. She has been
involved for over thirty years in various commissions of the World
Council of Churches including the Faith and Order Commission and the
Decade to Overcome Violence.

• Lynn Farrand is a member of the Church of the Trinity
MCC in Sarasota, FL., and is currently in seminary at the Florida Center
for Theological Studies. She was a member of MCC’s contigent
participating at the 2006 World Council of Churches General Assembly in
Porto Alegre, Brasil.

• Rev Bill Young is on staff at MCC Austin, TX. He
is on the board and head of the program committee of the Austin
Inter-religious ministries, and a member of the Austin Committee
Committed to Racial Reconciliation.
