Training
for Church Planting

Training is an important part of successful church planting. Our Church Planting Education Team has worked hard to put together some of the foundational training that is needed to evaluate whether you are called to plant a church, how to begin, and work to be completed prior to moving to regular worship. Work your way through each of these training modules and then if you believe you are called to be a planter or part of a church planting team contact your Regional Elder.

To view these training modules, you need to have Microsoft PowerPoint or a PowerPoint Viewer on your computer.  Download a free PowerPoint Viewer on Microsoft.com.

Vision, Mission, and Core Values (Español) (Portugese- "Without vision, the people will perish" is a Biblical proverb.  Rick Warren writes, "Without vision, people will go to anothe rparrish."  Both statements are true.  For new church plants to be effective, we must have clarity about the kind, type, or flavor of church we are going to plant.  This training module will give you a place to begin this work.

Feasibility Studies - Prior to your Regional Elder giving approval for planting a new church a feasibility study needs to be completed. These two modules will explain not only why this is important but teach you how to approach writing and evaluating the study.
