Church Planting Guidelines
The MCC Church Planting Initiative Team has researched
and put together a series of principles to best lay out a process for
church planting within an MCC context. While these guidelines have been
tested in Latin America, North America, Europe and the Caribbean we
realize that they are ever evolving and will from time to time be
updated. Also, each Regional Elder, with input from the
chairperson of the Church Planting Initiative Team, may modify the
guidelines should the culture of the area indicate the need for
it.
Remember, these are guidelines. Every church plant will
implement the guidelines based on the culture and needs of the given
area where the church plant will take place. Also, every church plant
leader will also have a mentor and coach to support them in implementing
the guidelines. Our goal is to plant healthy, multi-celled MCC churches
and not simply more churches.
