Core Values

MCC Church Planting Initiative

Our Church Planting Core Values

We are called to “go out and make disciples of all nations”
We are committed to bringing the message of God’s all-inclusive love to GLBT people through planting churches throughout the world

We value diversity
We will plant a wide variety of churches in order to reach as many different people as possible.

We value strong, healthy, growing churches
We will work with church planters, parent churches, regional church planting teams and mentors to give church plants the resources, guidelines and procedures that will help them to be healthy, strong and growing congregations.

We value every church as a future parent or sibling church
We will identify potential parent churches, providing them with training and support, so that they can repeatedly plant new churches. And we will encourage every MCC to offer support to new church plants, for example through prayer, encouragement and financial help, as a sibling congregation.

We value those who plant churches
We will work to ensure that church planters will be given the support they need to be successful.
