Cheryl Bragg
Cheryl is a member of MCC Christ the Liberator, North Brunswick, New
Jersey, where she serves as Gospel Choir Director and Deacon. She
is a composer, singer, and recording artists. Cheryl and her

Mark Brown
Mark joined the staff of MCC LA as Music Minster in September of 2006
under the senior minister Rev. Neil G. Thomas. Prior to ministry at MCC
LA. He has served as Music Minster for MCC Portland under the Leadership
of senior ministers Rev. Roy Cole, Rev. Michael Nikolaus and Rev. Glenna
Shepherd. This is Mark’s first MCC General Conference.

| It is his priority to lift up the name of Jesus through
music. He is very thankful to the denomination and Troy Perry for giving
back to him the opportunity to pursue his calling in music, Church

Orgena Rose
ORGENA ROSE is an inspirational singer/songwriter, actor, dancer and
vocal coach who travels around the country leading vocal workshops and
sharing the unconditional love of God through song, drama and liturgical
dance. Having over 13 years experience as a teacher, music director and
director, Orgena has served as a music director for Gentle Shepherd MCC
and Imago Dei MCC where she was a founding member. She has also
served as a music director for the Mid-Atlantic District (of Region 3),
and Region 6

| conferences and as worship coordinator for the 2006 MCC
People of African Descent Conferences. An accomplished professional
singer, Orgena has performed in Ragtime on Broadway, Porgy and Bess at
Carnegie Hall, on the Rosie O'Donnell, Tony Awards, and the Today shows,
in two PBS specials, the BBC Docudrama, Pandemic, and the feature film,
Snappers. She can be heard on the first glbt-produced Balm upBeat CD,
Songs of Praise From a Strange Land and on her new CD titled, It's All

Jane Syfestad
Jane Syftestad received her formal music training at UCLA and
Manhattan School of Music. She traveled extensively with partner David
Heid throughout the United States and Canada during the 1990's. As a
professional gospel singer, accompanist, composer and arranger, Jane
teaches public school and participates in worship at MCC Los
Angeles.

Rev. Jack Hoggat-St. John
Rev. Jack Hoggatt-St. John has been a musician, composer, and
workshopper within MCC for 30 years. He has served in churches in
Portland, OR, and San Jose and San Francisco, CA, USA, and is currently
Minister of Music at New Spirit Community Church in Berkeley, CA. Jack
is best known as the composer (with Rev. David Pelletier) of The Church
Alive, a hymn sung in MCC and other churches around the world. Jack is
currently working on a master's degree

of Religion. |

Rev. Carolyn Mobley
Rev. Carolyn Mobley has more than twenty years MCC. She joined
Resurrection MCC, Houston, Texas in 1990. During her 15 years at
Resurrection MCC, she was the Director of Christian Education, the
Associate Pastor for Congregational Care, Outreach, and Community
Partnerships. She received

| many honors while in Houston, these included being the
Grand Marshall for the 1993 Pride Celebrations, the Extra Mile Award
given by the Uncommon Legacy Foundation, serving on the Board of the
Houston Black Tie Dinner, the African-American Lesbian and Gay Alliance,
member of the City of Houston’s Urban AIDS Taskforce. Rev. Mobley
served on the Pastoral Care Team of Region 6. She is now the Interim
Pastor of MCC United in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a gifted preacher,
teacher, and inspiring worship leader. |
