Music at General Conference
It’s a new day and a new song for this year’s music
ministry! The Music Team is excited
about the upcoming General Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona and the
many ways we will experience uplifting worship and music. We have
wonderful plans and new ideas to share
to make the music ministry experience inspiring and enjoyable.

Conference Choir and Orchestra. Thank you for your spirit-filled
response! The Choir and Orchestra are both full and celebrating
what will be a joyous General Conference!

Sheet Music Announcement - June 20, 2007
Music participants are able to receive copies of our chosen sheet music
via private download. If you are a music participant and need to
download sheet music for your participation at General Conference,
follow these steps:

information. This service is for music participants only, as we
have licensure to share sheet music only with our musicians.
All Are Welcome!
Whether you sing in your church choir or you make a joyful tune from the
pews, you are welcome to join the Mass
Conference Choir (One Voice). The mass choir has been named "One
Voice" in honor of our diversity blending into oneness. The
Choir will sing Wednesday through Friday during the
evening worship services. Rehearsals will start on
Monday, July 2nd, but you can join in whenever you arrive.
Rehearsal times to be determined.
Orchestra
We are delighted that we will also be enhancing conference music by
adding orchestra instrumentation for various musical
pieces. The Conference Orchestra/Band is named "Music de
Espirito" to acknowledge that Spirit is in all of our music. We
also have places for individuals to participate in the Music Expo and
General Volunteers to help with the coordination of music activities. We
would like to especially encourage the Youth of MCC to
participate in every aspect of the music ministry.
Ease of Participation
Everyone's participation in the music ministry at General Conference is
important and greatly appreciated. To help make the Conference music
experience easy and more enjoyable:

Music activities will be planned with your convenience in
mind.

Rehearsals will be scheduled at convenient times so as to minimize
disruption for attending Conference programming.

Rehearsal and sound check schedules will be posted in
advance.

Learn and sing exciting and inspiring music.
-
There will be opportunities for networking and making new
friends.
Evening Reception
As a special honor, in appreciation for those participating in the
Conference music ministry, we are delighted to announce "An
Evening Reception with Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson and Rev. Dr. Cindi
Love" on Tuesday, July 3rd,
immediately following evening worship. Nancy and Cindi are
preparing something special for the music participants. Details
regarding this event will be posted as they become available.
