Roots & Fruits
A Retreat for Laity (Thursday, July 16, 2-5pm)
Led by Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson
Laity, you are often pushed and pulled between a full-time job, family
obligations, and your volunteer roles at church. Does your
spiritual life sometimes feel like one more thing on your "to do"
list? Where do you go for refuge and strength? What
nourishes your spirit? In a constantly changing environment, where
are the places of consistency and reliability for you? How do you
find the time and space to simply be, to let God find you? Let's
gather together and be with these and other questions. Come to share,
learn, or just be.
(The clergy retreat with Nancy will be held the same day, Thursday, July
16, 9:30a-12:30p.)
2009 REGIONAL CONFERENCE TRANSITION FORUM
Facilitated by Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson
There will be a forum, open to everyone, on Friday, July 17,
10:30a-12noon. We will discuss the implications of the proposed
transition that will begin on August 1, 2009. There will be a
question-and-answer time at the end of the session.
More details will be posted soon!
