Region 7 Teams

Region 7's infrastructure is built around teams that exist to resource the local church by utilizing the gifts and skills of the people who make up our region.  We believe that “all of us is smarter than one of us” and all of us can benefit from the skills and knowledge of others.  The teams that are organized to assist you are:

• Conflict Transformation Team – This team exists to provide intervention during times of conflict, assist in developing healthy processes for dealing with conflict, mediating difficult negotiations, training local church leaders in how to deal productively with conflict and teaching us all how transformation can happen in the face of conflict.  This team is made up of mediators, psychologists, and trained facilitators.  The team leader is Dr. Jonelle Neighbor who attends Pikes Peak MCC in Colorado Springs, CO.  Email this team
• Worship Support Team – This team is available to provide information and assistance in all different forms of worship, assist churches without a pastor in filling the pulpit and preparing lay people to preach or facilitate the sermon time, provide worship resources and ideas, and assist with creating bulletins when needed.  The team leader is Rev. Colleen Darraugh who is the Lead Pastor at MCC of Greater Dallas in Dallas, TX.  Email this team
• Business Management Team – This team is eager to assist churches in managing some of the rough spots that occur in the normal business functions of the church.  They can provide financial coaching, legal council, real estate advice, training for Boards, support and ideas for marketing, etc.  We believe that the business of the church should run smoothly so that focus can remain on ministry, not clean up.  The team leader is Laura Logan who attends the Unity Church of Dallas in Dallas, TX.  Email this team
• Love, Appreciation and Trust Team – This team focuses on the spiritual care of our churches, leaders and congregants.  They receive prayer requests and make them part of their daily prayer time, acknowledge church anniversaries, milestones, celebrations, accomplishments and victories, send cards and letters to folks in need and produce an e-letter to update all of us on these areas of need and celebration.  The team leader is Rev.
