Region 4 Resources

Region 4 shares resources among local churches in the region and desires to make all of Region 4 aware of resources available on the MCC website.  We encourage you to view the resources on Region 7's Resource Page and to visit the Resources area of the MCC website.

This Quarter's Top Picks

MCC Bournemouth has produced a Stewardship leaflet, aimed at those who may already give to the church, but perhaps would be willing to give a little more. The leaflet outlines how the money is used and gives some suggested steps to increased giving. info@mccbournemouth.co.uk

The Big Book on Small Groups Jeffrey Arnold 0830823700 is highly recommended by Rev. Sharon Ferguson, MCC North London, who runs the church’s small group programme.info@mccnorthlondon.com

Book – Eddie Askew “Unexpected Journeys” 0-902731-46-7 Leprosy Mission International - This is a collection of meditations and prayers, based on well known bible stories. The book is beautifully laid out, with watercolour paintings, which offer a further meditative resource. The interpretation of the stories bring them alive and the prayers offer a connection to today’s world.

Book – Ronald  A. Heifetz “Leadership Without Easy Answers” (0-674-51858-6) - What is a leader? What is a leader supposed to do? How do we lead through change? This book recognises the changing role of a leader and offers clear examples of how leaders can guide people through change, even when that change is difficult. It is not an easy book to read, but is incredibly insightful.
