403(b) Self-Directed Retirement Plan
Board of Pensions

MCC is pleased to be partnering with Merrill Lynch to provide an
additional retirement plan option to both MCC clergy and church
employees.
The 403(b) plan is a tax-deferred retirement plan open to compensated
clergy and lay employees serving in US churches--full and part-time,
without regard to age or length of service.
Clergy/Employees may join the plan at any time.
Contributions to the plan are made by salary deduction only, directly
to Merrill Lynch--either by the church's payroll service or
treasurer. Churches are responsible for seeing that the
appropriate changes to payroll, including those regarding tax
withholdings, are made.
